Good Morning Saigon

Start your new day the way Saigoneers often do: Having Hu Tieu - an ultra-popular noodle in southern Vietnam, sipping coffee at a sidewalk cafe, and listening to the beautiful sound of the city in the early morning. After that, we’ll take you off the busy roads, and embark on a water bus to get a different view of Vietnam’s most bustling city from Saigon River. On this scenic ride, we’ll explore the neighborhood and the local life on the water, in contrast to the city sky towers of downtown. The soul of timeless Saigon is waiting to be unveiled.

Saigon, Vietnam’s most evocative city, never fails to fire imagination. Skyscraper bars and high-fashion boutiques lie on the wide boulevards while old buildings, remaining from colonial time, rest in the historic heart. This colorful, chaotic, and enchanting city is where modern-day Vietnam is taking shape and showing its ambitions. 

Wake up early in the morning as we will take you to find the soul of this timeless city that Saigoneers are always proud of. We will start our day the way locals often do: Having Hu Tieu - an ultra-popular noodle in southern Vietnam, sitting at a roadside cafe to sip a cup of coffee - an experience not to be rushed, and listening to the first beautiful sounds of the city. After that, we’ll get off the busy roads, and embark on a water bus to get a different view of this bustling metropolis from the languid Saigon River. On this scenic ride, we’ll explore the neighborhood and the local life on the water, and sightsee the city downtown and sky towers.

Our morning excursion will continue with a visit to a small market where you learn about the local lifestyles and view old buildings that were established after the unification of the country in 1975. Finish our exploration at a lovely cafe where you will be surprised by its underground tunnel, once used to serve as a secret base for the Saigon Special Forces in the Vietnam War, a miniature of the iconic Cu Chi Tunnel right in the heart of the city.
