I am home safely, it took me a few days to get rid of jet lag. I just wanted to let you know that the trip was fantastic. I was impressed by the way you handled my trip, if I wanted to start at 5:00 AM for sunrise shots, the guides was always at the lobby at 4:45 with a beautiful smile. All the hotels, restaurants and destinations were really great. Thanks again for a lovely gift and I am happy to recommend your company to all of my friends who want to travel to Indochina.

Let me begin with a special thanks to Exotic Voyages for a wonderful trip to Southeast Asia. I thought going to Vietnam and Cambodia would be really challenging but it turned out to be a beautiful experience. My tour guide was the best ever and he was extremely professional. We want you to know how much we enjoyed every aspect of the trip.  We enjoyed our brief time in the South but were glad that our itinerary focused on North and Central Vietnam.

It is hard to say what we felt was the best part of the trip since we were pleased with everything.  All our hotel accommodations and the sites we visited were great and all of our drivers were very cautious.  However, I would say that the guides were what made the trip the most special part of our vacation.  As you know from the survey that we filled out, Ngoc was an exceptional guide.  His knowledge and enthusiasm kept us interested at all times.  His English is excellent. He was always sensitive to our needs and desires…including Rick’s interest in taking many specific photos and in having special experiences with a variety of Vietnamese cuisine.

We also have high praise for the guides we had in Sapa and in Central Vietnam.  Since they were probably employed directly by your associate tour companies, I want you to know their names so you can ask for them specifically for other clients.  In Sapa our guide was Vu Trung Kien. He spent 2 very full days with us hiking around Sapa.  On the 2nd day he offered us an additional walk from Sapa that provided spectacular views of the mountains and valley.  What we saw on this extra walk was the most beautiful scenery of our hikes.

In Central Vietnam our guide was Nguyen Thi Thu Suong.  We spent 3 days with her and she was delightful.  She was very personable and spoke excellent English.  On our 2nd day in Hoi An, she spent the entire day with us bicycling around the area, visiting the monk I had the name of at the pagoda in Hoi An, and seeing the town and countryside.

On New Years Eve at the Majestic Hotel we had the nice surprise of an unexpected gift.  Thank you so much for the lovely scrapbook with the beautiful oriental cover.  Rick took many interesting pictures with which we will fill the book.  If we manage to figure out how to get them on an email, we will send you a few memorable shots with our guides.
