Believe us or not, Cambodia is a plenty for a family trip filled with fun and great exploration. Whenever you’re ready for a long flight to get there, you’ll find the truth that this country is able to keep all of the ages amused. To the old, it’s the go to show the admiration toward the inspirational Angkor ruined city. To the children, it isn’t much but a completely new exploration in the east. There will be a lot of things to do, ‘missions’ to accomplish in this fascinating trip, carefully designed by our experts.
Upon your arrival in Phnom Penh, your guide will welcome you at the airport and then transfer to your hotel for check-in.
You get around the city visiting many interesting sites like the Royal Palace, the National Museum, Silver Pagoda. In the afternoon, you will go on a street food tour hosted by our kind host and even get to the riverside area to try local snacks and exotic dishes like deep-fried insects.
You embark on a 1.5-hour cruise over Mekong River to reach Koh Dach island, a place which is known for its silk. You can try to weave the silk then ride your bike to discover the island. Lunch will be prepared by a local Khmer family. In the afternoon, on the way to the hotel, drop by to have a walk on the Russian market.
You’ll travel through beautiful rice fields and sugar palms before reaching out Kampong Chhnang town to see the work of making traditional pottery. In the afternoon, we get on a local motorboat cruising over scenic floating villages. Arrive at Battambang at the end of the day.
Today your family experiences the hidden charming town of Battambang by bike. Ride through rice paddies, local workshops, colonial houses, and pagodas to enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery. Gear up for a circus art performance at Phare Ponleu Selpak, or the ‘Brightness of art’ school.
Travel through the day dropping by a silk farm 15km from Siem Reap. You will learn all the steps of traditional silk production from raising the worm, weaving the silk, and coloring it. Visit Angkor National Museum before checking in the hotel.
You are in an Angkor Treasure Hunt game when everyone competes to each other to explore the secret treasures of Angkor. Your guide is the instructor for you in the game. Temple lunch prepared also.
Today we’ll visit remote temples of Angkor such as Temple of Bang Mealea, Banteay Srei. Both of them are two of the most precious gems of Khmer art.
A day full of fun is waiting for you when you have a mini-golf session and temple walking in the morning, lake swimming in the afternoon, Angkor balloon ride in the sunset, and small funfair set up by Khmer families.
Relax by the hotel's pool or spend more time to explore the Old Market of Siem Reap as you wish. See your guide again for a transfer to the airport for departure flight.

Exotic Voyages produced a once in a lifetime tour for us which we will remember for the rest of our lives. We cannot recommend them highly enough, for so many different reasons. The booking process was very smooth, and any requests from me to add or amend things on the itinerary were accommodated. I was hesitant at first due to the online nature of the company but was reassured once we received flight booking confirmations and invoice of payment very swiftly after payment was transferred. We were kept informed up until the day we flew out to Thailand and then once we arrived we had a local tour guide escort us through the airport which really helped after a very long couple of flights! This was a consistent theme with the company, local tour guides who spoke extremely good English and who were knowledgeable but best of all very friendly and personable. We want to thank all of our guides as they were all fantastic and the private nature of the tours also added to the special experience. Highlights of the tour for us was the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai and food tour in Bangkok (though all of our tours were excellent). The hotels were all better than we could have hoped for, in great locations and very comfortable and clean. The highlight was our suite in Phuket which was absolutely beautiful. All in all we had probably the best holiday we have ever enjoyed together and we cant thank Exotic Voyages enough for giving us this experience. Well worth every penny! We have already recommended the company to our friends and family and ware already thinking about our next trip to either Vietnam or Cambodia.

Lucy at Exotic Voyages put together an amazing, hassle-free vacation for my wife and me. We went to Bangkok for two days, then to Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat for a day, then back to Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand for three days. My wife's birthday was on the second day we were in Thailand. I called Lucy to request we stop at a bakery to get a birthday cake during a food tour we had planned. She had already arranged for a birthday cake with singing at one of our stops, because she said she noticed in our documents that it was my wife's birthday and she wanted to surprise us! The airports were a little confusing, but Lucy provided guides to meet us at every stop so we wouldn't have any problems. They even expedited our visas in Cambodia. It was everything we could have asked for and was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend Exotic Voyages and Lucy.

I've travelled to all seven continents both on a shoestring and on luxury trips and my recent vacation to Vietnam and Cambodia that was arranged by ( my now favorite) Travel Designer, Diep Nguyen, at Exotic Voyages by far exceeded my expectations. This was my first visit to Vietnam/Cambodia so the must see places were, needless to say part of the tour. Diep however went to bat for us to make certain we experienced the best of the tourist spots during the busy season when we were traveling. She managed to get us one of the best rooms in the colonial section of the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi. She arranged a trip on Halong Bay that was far away from what is now an almost Disney World touristy area. Similarly unique arrangements were made for a cooking class we took in Hoi An, that included a river boat trip and a USA experienced chef. The Bassac cruise up the Mekong Delta was another highlight and a trip that I would gladly extend to a few days rather than the single night we spent on board. What made this trip exceptional however was that it was totally hassle free. Tour guides were always on time. Drivers were always waiting at airports. The one thing that will always stick out in my mind as exceptional service however is when our flight from Hoi An to Siem Reap in Cambodia was delayed by several hours. Not only were we immediately informed and drivers on both ends rescheduled but the hotel manager of the Jaya House River Park where we were staying in Siem Reap was informed and greeted us as we stepped out of the taxi at midnight and graciously invited us for a light meal and wine in the event we had not eaten. You can't get more hassle free than that. I sincerely thank Exotic Voyages and Diep Nguyen for organizing this memorable trip. I would recommend them to anyone. If you want a stress free and worry free luxury ( with capital L) but good value for your budget with authentic adventure to Vietnam and Cambodia then book with Exotic Voyages and ask for Diep !! Once you arrive all details will be taken care of for you! Diep has local expertise , is super professional, accommodating and make great suggestions that flows logically . Pre trip planning she was very prompt in her reply and quick and fair quote with detail itemization of itinerary. Her English is great and she talk to you over phone and follow up with you by email details. All the hotels booked were 4.5-5 stars spotlessly clean with excellent services. The tours booked were unique and guide was excellent . We arrive in Hanoi 3 days took day trip to Halong Bay, Ninh Binh and Trang An Skull Island where movie Kong was filmed , and did city tour. We then flew to Siem Reap , Cambodia 2 days and tour Angkor Wat, flew to Danang stayed 4 days and tour Hoi An ( got fantastic tailor suites , Ao Dai and custom made shoes in 24 hours) , tour Hue and recuperate on the beautiful beach then , flew to 3 nights Ho Chi Minh , took 1night cruise of Mekong delta and saw floating market. Scrumptious buffet Breakfast was included in all hotel bookings and all tours booked included lunch with exceptional quality and authenticity. We especially liked the pinic lunch in Cambodia , lunch on cruise to Halong Bay , Ninh Binh goat meat lunch, Hue perfume river home cooking ,Cu Chi tunnel fast boat lunch( a unique way n fun way to get to tunnel) and the delectable 4 courses meals on the Mekong delta cruise for lunch , dinner n breakfast ! Driver and guide met us at each airport arrival with our names and air conditioned clean bus to whisk us away to our hotel. Detail touches like cold water bottle and cold refreshing towel always available throughout during transport and tour for all trips . All guides were professional and speak English . Tour bus drop us off at One point and pick us up at another point allow us to see more without looping back to save time and energy. All guides were very accommodating when we change or diverged from schedule plan. Diep booked all our domestic flight tickets for 7 people from Hanoi to Siem Reap , Siem Reap to danang and danang to Ho Chi Minh city. She booked us for seaplane flight to Halong Bay (45 min each way with amazing aerial view no other halong tour can give ) which was a fabulous alternative to driving to halong for round trip 8 hours! I would highly recommend Exotic Voyages and especially Diep if you want to travel Vietnam in luxury and comfortably with value for your money but have an authentic and interesting experience . Our group are picky discernible traveler with Four Seasons hotel taste but Anthony Bourdain palate and zest. She managed to keep 4 active middle age adults and 3 teenager boys happy throughout our 2 weeks in Southeast Asia ! It was a memorable trip for all to reminisce and remember .
