When one thinks of Thailand, giant gilded temples and the bustle of Bangkok are sure to be at the forefront of the mind. On the Thailand Wildlife Trail, you will see these astonishing architectural marvels but also dive deeper into the lesser known parts of Thailand from the incredible comfort and beauty of the 500 Rai Floating Hotel. This tour expertly caters to both your inner beach bum, as well as the adventurous spirit that will lead you deep into Thailand’s most exotic locales and wildlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met near the air-bridge and be escorted to the immigration counter. Our staff will take your luggage from the luggage belt and take you directly to meet your driver for a transfer without a guide to your hotel. After check-in, you will have free time to stretch after the long flight.
Free to discover Bangkok in the morning. In the evening, you will get on a tuk-tuk to start a midnight eating adventure with a local guide. Go beyond tourist zones to explore Bangkok from a variety of savory dishes, old-town landmarks, and temples for a different perspective that is almost completely invisible to most tourists. We will finish the tour by the Cinderella’s time.
In the morning, you'll visit The Grand Palace, the most important royal palace in Thailand and Wat Pho, home of the famous 45-meter reclining Buddha. Embarking on a boat in the afternoon to visit the forgotten communities of Thonburi. Drop by Baan Bu village to learn the secrets of Thai bronze bowl metalworking which has been passed through 6 generations.
Continue your exploration of peaceful Thonburi canals. Stroll along the century-old wooden houses and stop to try King Rama V’s favorite dish at the restaurant where the king himself used to dine.
In the early morning, you’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight to Surat Thani. A representative will welcome and drive you to the pier for a scenic boat ride to 500 Rai Floating Resort. On the way, visit Chiew Larn Lake that is famous for its jagged limestone peaks emerging from the emerald water.
After a delicious lunch, free at leisure to enjoy the tropical environment, go swimming, explore the surrounding waters in a kayak, or simply relax and bask in the lovely atmosphere.
In the morning, you’ll explore a cave before enjoying your lunch at the Talay Nai Restaurant. Embark on a wildlife excursion by boat in the Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary in the afternoon to see some of Thailand’s most exotic fauna up close, including elephants, wild bison, sambar deer, and even the adorable tapir.
Return to resort for a sunset and happy hour. Dinner will include an array of delicious options.
Today, you’ll have a chance to explore the Pad Sian waterfall which is situated in the jungle. After having lunch at the Talay Nai Restaurant, head to Coral Cave for an easy hike and a truly immersive exploration of the underground world right below your feet.
Return to the resort at sunset for your last happy hour before having a delicious dinner.
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning dawn on the lake then cruise the jungle shore to look for wildlife like monkeys, hornbills, and gibbons in the rainforest canopy. Return your hotel for breakfast, check out then cruise back across the reservoir on a longtail boat for panoramic views of the limestone mountains. Return to the pier and travel onward to Khanom. You’ll be free to explore this wonderful area and relax on the beautiful beaches.
You are free to discover all of its natural beauty of Khanom. There are stunning beaches, thousand-year-old temples, historic ruins, plenty of caves to explore, and environmental tranquility to rest.
Today you’ll set off the beach on a local longtail fishing boat to seek out pink dolphins. Then you’ll travel to the island of Koh Nui Nork where you learn about the legendary Buddhist monk Luang Por Tuad. After having lunch on the beach, you’ll enjoy a natural spa treatment that mountain river fish will nibble gently at your feet to clean and soften them. The afternoon is free at leisure.
Free to relax on the beaches. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel, followed by a significant, ceremonial act of releasing your own lantern on the beach.
Free in the morning to relax until the private transfer to Surat Thani airport. From here, you will fly back to Bangkok for your return flight.

I have to admit it - I was a little apprehensive about using a foreign travel agent. After reading a glowing review in Travel & Leisure magazine, I decided to reach out to Exotic Voyages to discuss planning a two-week trip to Thailand in celebration of my 30th wedding anniversary. I could not have made a better decision. My initial concerns were quickly allayed when I requested and received from Ha Vy local references from her clients in the US. Each of those references proved to be happy and satisfied customers who were more than willing to share their experiences working with Exotic Voyages and specifically, Vy as their travel agent. I usually plan and book my own travel however, in this case, being a first-time visitor to Asia and in unfamiliar territory, I decided to use a professional travel agent and boy am I glad I did so. Vy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and responsiveness far exceeded my expectations. We communicated via email, phone, and WhatsApp. WhatsApp was probably the easiest communication mechanism we used. Vy answered all of my questions (and there were many) quickly and professionally. She took care of everything and communicated with me before, during, and after the trip. Vy made sure we were happy throughout our adventure and that we got home safely - we were lucky to have just missed by two days the airport closure in Hong Kong which was our connection point back to NY. My initial guidance to Vy was as follows - I wanted unique local experiences coupled with five-star luxury boutique accommodations and personalized service. And, that is exactly what she delivered. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped off the airplane in Bangkok until the moment we left Koh Samui. We had a private air-conditioned van with driver and knowledgeable guides (thank you Nud and Aree) throughout our trip who ensured our safety, helped communicate with the locals, and made sure we had experiences "off the beaten path". Our trip started at the Anantara Golden Triangle Resort in Chiang Saen, Northern Thailand (border of Myanmar and Laos). This is a beautiful resort and elephant sanctuary and was probably the highlight of our trip. We walked with the elephants and learned from the mahouts who care for them. This was followed by wonderful massages in the spa. We also crossed the border into Myanmar where we visited local markets and temples and rode in tuk tuks. Lastly, we took a long boat up the Mekong River and stopped briefly in Laos. August is the rainy season in Thailand but in my opinion, it is a great time to visit as the weather is not so hot and there are fewer tourists. Rain showers did not prevent us from doing any of the activities and in fact, contributed to the romantic appeal of these exotic locales. Other stops along our journey included: Khum Lanna, Pai, Chiang Mai, and finally Koh Samui. Each boutique hotel was spectacular and the staff greeted us warmly. I can go on and on about how pleased we were with this trip but suffice it to say that Exotic Voyages is a first-class travel agency who provides real value to their clients. I highly recommend this fantastic company and specifically Ha Vy for all of your journeys to SE Asia. I have already forwarded my itinerary to many colleagues and friends and expect that they will be contacting Vy in the not too distant future. Finally, I anticipate returning to SE Asia (perhaps Vietnam and Cambodia) in the coming years and will certainly call on Vy once again.READ MORE

I’m so happy we booked our honeymoon with Exotic Voyages. Ha Vy was great to work with and she tailored the honeymoon package to match our needs and interests perfectly. As soon as we arrived in Thailand, there was someone waiting for us just outside the airplane with a sign and they helped us with everything. We never went anywhere without a guide helping us and everything was already paid for which made the trip so smooth and easy. All the activities were so much fun, especially Patara Elephant farm and snorkelling in Koh Tao :) Each day was a new adventure and we got to rest in the beautiful beaches of Koh Samui in the final two days. All the tour guides were awesome, especially Pong. We will remember our amazing trip for the rest of our lives :) I highly recommend booking your trip with Exotic Voyages, it’s so worth it.READ MORE
