Day 1 -3: Hanoi. Meet the veteran and explore Vietnamese life after the war. 

Day 4: Halong Bay. Cruise one of the World's natural wonders.

Day 7-8: Hue. Ancient Capital - tranquil yet charming elegance of past dynasties.

Day 9-11: Hoi An. Indulge in the old streets.

Day 13-15: Saigon. Southern busy life and Mekong Delta.

DAY 1 Hanoi

Upon arrival in Hanoi airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide and escorted to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free at leisure. You can explore Hanoi on your own or relax in the hotel. 

DAY 2 Hanoi

Today's highlightsVisit John McCain’s Monument & meet the pilot of Viet Cong

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Head to Truc Bach lake and pay the honor to John McCain’s Monument. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, and Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam before having a free talk with the first Vietnamese pilot shooting down an American aircraft. At night, taste delicious varieties of local cuisine in the Old Quarter.

DAY 3 Hanoi

Today's highlightsVisit a veteran and his family business after the war

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Visit two Vietnam War veterans and tea farm owners. Learn how to pick the best part of the tea tree to brew Vietnam's traditional tea. Visit your second host family and assist her in making lunch. Then, have sometime to explore local culture, visit local workshop and do 1-hour cycling to see tranquil rice fields before returning to Hanoi. Evening free at leisure.

DAY 4 Ha Long Bay

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Travel to Halong and arrive around noon. There, embark on a cruise in the UNESCO World Heritage site - Halong Bay, with its giant rock islets covered in luxuriant vegetation overlooking the waters. Enjoy lunch and dinner aboard with excellent and freshly caught seafood from the bay. Join a night fishing session on the boat.

DAY 5 Quang Binh

Meals: Breakfast, Brunch

Wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the aquamarine waters of the bay depending on the weather. Then the cruise will tour around the bay until you disembark at the end of the morning. Return to Hanoi and be transferred straight to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Dong Hoi. Check in hotel in Dong Hoi and overnight.

DAY 6 Quang Binh

Today's highlightsVisit the civilians caves where the villagers lived and make a living during the war time

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Visit Paradise cave - a 31 km cave with pathways and spectacular features in dim light. Stop by 8 Ladies Cave to honor the soldiers who lost their lives when taking shelter from bombings. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Later, embark on a boat trip on Chay river, Son River, Phong Nha, Nguyen Van Troi pier, Xuan Son pier which were heavily devastated by B-52s. 

DAY 7 Hue

Today's highlightsTalk with the elderly in the demilitarized zone

Hotel: Villa Hue
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Head to the demilitarized zone (DMZ) and spend the easy talk with the elderly to learn about how this region were different with other combat areas throughout the war time. Depart to Hue. Check in hotel and free to enjoy the night.

DAY 8 Hue

Visit the majestic Imperial Citadel of Hue. Move to Tha Om garden house to enjoy the traditional architecture and listen to stories about the host's ancestral stories. After lunch, visit King Minh Mang's tomb with charming landscape

DAY 9 Hoi An

Today's highlightsTeh Dah Art Performance

Meals: Breakfast

Depart to Danang, admire the natural landscape on the road before reaching Hoi An. In the afternoon, discover the old town of Hoi An - a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful architecture, and centuries-old houses. In the evening, watch Teh Dar - a new type of art performance which transports you into the lives of Vietnam's ethnic minorities.

DAY 10 Hoi An

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, ride your bicycles for 1 hour into the Cam Thanh countryside, observe picturesque scenes of the local life before reaching the seaport of Cua Dai to explore a unique method of fishing in “basket boats". Enjoy a lunch carefully prepared by the fishermen.

The rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 11 Hoi An

Today, you are free to enjoy your time in Hoi An as your wish. 

DAY 12 Saigon

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Check out the hotel. Fly to Saigon and check in hotel. Our guide pick you up, stop at "café zoom" to enjoy a cocktail and an aperitif before venturing into the city. Savor some great seafood at a local restaurant. Lastly, enjoy live music and dance at a hidden local café and bar.

DAY 13 Saigon

Today's highlightsVisit Cu Chi Tunnels

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, pay a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels - a hand-dug underground tunnel network during the Vietnam War, located one hour from Ho Chi Minh City. Pass through various narrow underground ducts and taste a Vietnamese dish eaten daily during the war in Cu Chi, boiled cassava. Return to Saigon for lunch and discover its vibrant life in the market, via residential area, over the Saigon river and on the symbolic tower.

DAY 14 Saigon

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Depart to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Visit a brick factory, cruise along the Chet Say river (one of the Mekong’s arms), and join a carpet-weaving workshop. Later, ride a bicycle to enjoy the peaceful daily life and landscape in Ben Tre. Taste a delicious lunch made of regional specialties, such as “elephant-ear fish” and freshwater shrimps. In the afternoon, get on the sampan for some leisure time and return to Saigon.

DAY 15 Saigon

Free day until the private transfer with guide to the airport for your departure flight.
