Join us for a lifetime trip of your life as we journey on the most beautiful beaches of the Andaman Sea to seek for hidden lagoons and islands. We will sail on the Chao Phraya River on a private romantic boat to see temples and the whole city of Bangkok twinkling at night. We visit richly decorated temples, drink Tequilla at a rooftop bar, then get lost in the narrow canals when looking for the old living style of Thai people. Led by an experienced local guide, we’ll also attend a daycare program to learn about pregnant elephants and mothers with small babies, try your hand at pottering, and sample local food. And when your honeymoon trip is full of memorable activities, we’ll make it perfect with a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach and follow with a lot of time relaxing and refreshing at the some of the best luxury hideaway resorts in Thailand.
Upon arrival at the airport, our staff will meet you at air-bridge and escort you to the immigration counter without queue. They will also carry your luggage at the luggage belt and take you to see your driver for a private transfer to the Peninsula, where you will spend 3 nights in Bangkok.
With mesmerizing views of the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s skyline, faultless service, an opulent spa, and a restaurant serving excellent Thai cuisine in small wooden pavilions by the river, this classic luxury urban resort is the perfect choice for those who want sumptuous tranquility and romance.
Dress appropriately because we’ll take you to visit the Grand Place and Wat Pho this morning. The royal palace expands over 2,351,000 sq ft, was constructed in 1782 when King Rama I moved the capital city from Thonburi to Bangkok. Today, it is partially open to the public as a museum, including the richly decorated Wat Phra Kaew which houses the sacred Emerald Buddha. Take a leisure walk to Wat Pho, one of the six first-class royal temples in Thailand. Our guide will help you understand more about the temple's history, tell you interesting stories about its famous 150 ft reclining Buddha that was built in 1832, and show you Buddhist auspicious symbols caved on his 9ft feet. You’ll also visit Wat Pho Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School - the birthplace of traditional Thai massage that has been taught at the temple since 1955.
When the sun goes down, surprise your spouse with a romantic date night. We’ll pick you up from the hotel with a tuk-tuk and escort you to the pier to board a private boat. You’ll cruise on the calm water of Chao Phraya River, watch glittering temples and busy life of Bangkok at night while we are preparing a romantic dinner on boat. Disembark to enjoy the Ladyboy Cabaret Show - one of Bangkok’s most popular shows that is 25 years in the business. The stage, costumes, performances, and dancers remind you of the famous Broadway but on a more modest scale. End the night with a cocktail while lounging in a rooftop bar and soaking in a full 360 degrees of the city.
We’ll get away from the hustle and bustle of the city today to get a glimpse of the canal-side life of old Thai living style. Make our way down the canal on a private teak longtail boat, towards a floating market. We’ll see giant lizards basking in the sun, hundreds of fish swimming, small local houses built on the water, and how the local buy, sell, and bargain from boat to boat. After the market, we’ll visit some famous temples lining the canal to witness the unique structures and precious statues. Our guide will reveal to you interesting truths about the history of Thonburi and each temple, praying rituals, and how to interact with monks and their religion.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy some authentic Thai dishes. From here, our trip continues to visit an orchid nursery and the rustic 200-year-old Artist House on the side of the river. The house has a creative ambience with colorful lanterns, hanging plants, and lovely works of art. It has a traditional puppet show that you’ll be delighted to watch.
We’ll be on and off the boat, so activewear and comfy shoes are recommended. Appropriate dress is a good idea too because we’ll visit temples.
Today, we’ll take a short flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai: a land of misty mountains and colorful hill tribes, a dream of nature lovers and a delight for adventurers. Upon arrival, you’ll meet our local guide and take a private drive to your hotel. Check-in Anantara Chiang Mai which was built on the ground of the former British Consulate. This property offers a resort feel: a true urban oasis on the bank of the peaceful Mae Ping River. Let’s relax to get ready for exciting activities on the two days after.
Chiang Mai is known for its mountains, Buddhist temples, Lana ruins, and elephants - one of the most amazing creatures in the world. Today, we’ll learn about elephants for one whole day in an ethical elephant farm that is found in 2001 by a Thai couple. They adopt the elephants from circuses on the streets of Bangkok and the illegal logging industry and give them a new home. Health recovery and natural breeding management are focused seriously to preserve the elephant’s population. You might be happy to know that, around 2-3 baby elephants are born on this farm each year.
Get change into traditional mahouts’ dress when we first arrive at the farm. We’ll learn everything about the elephants, from history to basic daily cares but emphasize on pregnant elephants and mothers with small babies. We’ll interact with them ethically through many activities as feeding, health inspection, walking with, bathing, and observing them interacting among their families in their natural environment. We’ll also learn that if their tails don’t swish from side to side, their ears don’t flap as usual, or their eyes don’t produce tears, they are not in a good health. Learn to say “Didi” to your elephants. That will encourage them because it means “Good boy!”.
After breakfast, we’ll head south to a little know secret of Chiang Mai. Our local guide will introduce to you about the history of the village that is now home to a small community of Thai artists who are dedicated to preserving their traditional ceramic craft. We’ll take a stroll on narrow paths, from house to house, to see old-style pottery collections and witness the local working on a spinning wheel to form the clay to different shapes of pots by their hands. It’s now the funniest moment of the trip: Try your hand at pottering. Be careful because your product is very likely to twist out of shape. Bring it home anyway. (But don’t worry, the local artist will help you to fix it in a second.)
At 3 PM, we’ll see you again at the hotel. We’ll drive up hills to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep - the most sacred temple in North Thailand. Our guide will tell you the legend of a white elephant that carried Gautama Buddha's relic on his back to Doi Suthep that is now the site of the temple. Our guide will show you stunning golden stupas, old walls, impressive murals, beautiful shrines, and have an amazing view of the city. When the tourist mass have left in the late morning, you’ll see a monk for a blessing ceremony and witness the evening chanting of the monks to understand more about their religion and daily life.
After a lot of things to see and do in Chiang Mai, now it’s time to indulge in a romantic dinner specially set for you on the beach. With your feet on the sand, waves lapping the shore, and private gourmet cuisine this can be one of the most memorable moments in your whole trip.
Spend your time to discover the deliciously unspoiled island when you are at Koh Lanta. It boasts a long coastline with 9 fantastic white sandy beaches, green forests, coral reefs, and rich marine life. With some beaches that are considered the finest in Thailand, Koh Lanta is the perfect place for those who are seeking a romantic holiday away from the crowd.
Continue to explore more the island or simply refresh yourself at your hotel Pimalai Koh Lanta. Backed by limestone mountains, overlooking the ocean, your 5-star resort borders most of Kantiang’s pristine beach. You’ll feel it wonderfully private but there is a few of laid-back bars are just down the shore.
Excellent restaurants, a cliffside pool, an award-winning spa, yoga classes, snorkeling trips to nearby islands, complimentary kayaking, paddle-boarding, and sailing, ensure that Pimalai is a little patch of heaven for honeymooners.
An early wake-up today because we’ll pick you up from the hotel to a new adventure: Exploring one of the most beautiful mangrove forests in Thailand. Following 45-minute drive, we arrive at Thalane Bay where our adventure begins. Kayaking is the best way to discover this pristine ecosystem. We’ll paddle on the narrow waterways cut through towering limestone perks then get lost in a hidden lagoon that amazes you by its unspoiled beauty of nature. We’ll also board a private long-tail boat to hop between islands, swim in the crystal clear water, do snorkeling to explore the underwater world, spot the wildlife as kingfishers, little blue herons, and long-tailed macaques, or simply sunbathe on the sandy quiet beach.
Today you’ll hop on/off the kayak and do a lot of water activities, so don’t forget to bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and wear flip flops because there are shells and rocks on the sand.
Today, you’ll be free at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the Tubkaak Krabi. Its sublime setting, superb spa, excellent Thai food, and easy access to Krabi’s many attractions, such as hot springs and emerald pool, make it a fabulous place for a honeymoon escape.

I have to admit it - I was a little apprehensive about using a foreign travel agent. After reading a glowing review in Travel & Leisure magazine, I decided to reach out to Exotic Voyages to discuss planning a two-week trip to Thailand in celebration of my 30th wedding anniversary. I could not have made a better decision. My initial concerns were quickly allayed when I requested and received from Ha Vy local references from her clients in the US. Each of those references proved to be happy and satisfied customers who were more than willing to share their experiences working with Exotic Voyages and specifically, Vy as their travel agent. I usually plan and book my own travel however, in this case, being a first-time visitor to Asia and in unfamiliar territory, I decided to use a professional travel agent and boy am I glad I did so. Vy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and responsiveness far exceeded my expectations. We communicated via email, phone, and WhatsApp. WhatsApp was probably the easiest communication mechanism we used. Vy answered all of my questions (and there were many) quickly and professionally. She took care of everything and communicated with me before, during, and after the trip. Vy made sure we were happy throughout our adventure and that we got home safely - we were lucky to have just missed by two days the airport closure in Hong Kong which was our connection point back to NY. My initial guidance to Vy was as follows - I wanted unique local experiences coupled with five-star luxury boutique accommodations and personalized service. And, that is exactly what she delivered. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped off the airplane in Bangkok until the moment we left Koh Samui. We had a private air-conditioned van with driver and knowledgeable guides (thank you Nud and Aree) throughout our trip who ensured our safety, helped communicate with the locals, and made sure we had experiences "off the beaten path". Our trip started at the Anantara Golden Triangle Resort in Chiang Saen, Northern Thailand (border of Myanmar and Laos). This is a beautiful resort and elephant sanctuary and was probably the highlight of our trip. We walked with the elephants and learned from the mahouts who care for them. This was followed by wonderful massages in the spa. We also crossed the border into Myanmar where we visited local markets and temples and rode in tuk tuks. Lastly, we took a long boat up the Mekong River and stopped briefly in Laos. August is the rainy season in Thailand but in my opinion, it is a great time to visit as the weather is not so hot and there are fewer tourists. Rain showers did not prevent us from doing any of the activities and in fact, contributed to the romantic appeal of these exotic locales. Other stops along our journey included: Khum Lanna, Pai, Chiang Mai, and finally Koh Samui. Each boutique hotel was spectacular and the staff greeted us warmly. I can go on and on about how pleased we were with this trip but suffice it to say that Exotic Voyages is a first-class travel agency who provides real value to their clients. I highly recommend this fantastic company and specifically Ha Vy for all of your journeys to SE Asia. I have already forwarded my itinerary to many colleagues and friends and expect that they will be contacting Vy in the not too distant future. Finally, I anticipate returning to SE Asia (perhaps Vietnam and Cambodia) in the coming years and will certainly call on Vy once again.READ MORE

I’m so happy we booked our honeymoon with Exotic Voyages. Ha Vy was great to work with and she tailored the honeymoon package to match our needs and interests perfectly. As soon as we arrived in Thailand, there was someone waiting for us just outside the airplane with a sign and they helped us with everything. We never went anywhere without a guide helping us and everything was already paid for which made the trip so smooth and easy. All the activities were so much fun, especially Patara Elephant farm and snorkelling in Koh Tao :) Each day was a new adventure and we got to rest in the beautiful beaches of Koh Samui in the final two days. All the tour guides were awesome, especially Pong. We will remember our amazing trip for the rest of our lives :) I highly recommend booking your trip with Exotic Voyages, it’s so worth it.READ MORE
