Bolaven Plateau is a region in southern Laos. It is located between the Annamite Mountain Range, along which runs Laos’ eastern border with Vietnam, and the Mekong River to the west. It is green all year round and cooler than the rest of Laos and Thailand. It was known with a number of protected national parks, dramatic waterfalls, remote hill tribes, dense jungle and a taste of some of the world's best coffee beans. They are the tourist attractions of this area.
