Attracive corniche, excellent beaches nearby, historical dhow-builing and two forst, Sur is surely a places with many attractions to travelers. It is also a convenient location to travel to Wadi Twi and Wadi Shab as well as the turtle resrerve at Ras al Jinz. If you are traveling from Muscat via the desert camp Wahiba sand then Sur also makes a good rest stop.
