The Bassac Cruises are three elegant traditional boats sharing the same standards and mostly differing in size; taking you into the greener areas along the Great Mekong, overnight on the river and into the middle of the life about the river. Bassac cruises are reminders of Vietnamese and Khmer traditional charm, adapted for discovery cruises, open to outside and offering an immediate contact with the green surroundings. All three Bassac are built of wood according to the tradition of the rice barges of the Mekong delta, with amendments where safety standards require. While all have the same standards of safety, design and service, each has their own charm and feature to be highlighted. The original Bassac I, built in the hull of a rice transporting barge, is a cozy ship sized right for a family excursion or a group of friends, who will love to appropriate it for the duration of their journey. The Bassac II was designed in-house to meet the demands of river discovery cruises navigate further into Cambodia. The Bassac III with a large covered upper deck, a panoramic lounge and wide gangways, is more comfortable and provide groups of travelers spacious space to enjoy the nature and time of indulgence on board.
