Inside this sacred city, you will find many interesting landmarks such as Bo Tree, the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world,and dagobas, the city’s greatest treasure.
In the morning, we take you to see Polonnaruwa, a well-preserved 12th royal city with spectacular stone culture and monuments. Up next, we’re headed to Sigiriya rock, one of the most visited World Heritage site in Sri Lanka.
Hiriwaduna and Habanara villages offer you the chance to experience the countryside life in the most authentic way. The morning light trek leads you to the freshest and most stunning places in the surrounding. In the afternoon, you’ll get on elephant’s back to go further, reaching out more exotic spots.
The hilly capital of Kandy is considered the centre of Buddhism, arts, crafts, dancing, music over the country. You visit the National Museum, Bathing Pavilion, the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha – all the highlights for a Kandy city tour. Furthermore, we’ll drive upper from the Lake, to get a panorama view of the city, and catch the Kandy cultural show when the night falls.
Today you take a scenic 4-hour train journey to Nuwara Eliya after an excursion to Peradeniya Botanical garden. On the way, you’ll pass a lot of great landscapes such as tea hills, bridges and rivers.
Have you ever heard of the World’s End? Today you’ll get to that place. It’s belonged to the Horton Plain in Nuwara Ellia. We’ll take you to visit this site and then explore the ‘Little England’- Nuwara Eliya hilly city.
Ella is one the best places in Sri Lanka to do a good trek, hike or adventurous bike. You may explore a range of natural wonders, historical artifacts, tea gardens and factories for the whole day.
On the way driving from Ella to Yala, we visit the Buduruwagala temple, a complex of several rock carving that survived hundreds of years. Before sunset we reach Yala National Park and do a drive game on jeep to get around this fabulous park.
The Dutch Fort of Galle is your next stop in the southern coastal city of the country. After checking in hotel in town, you should walk around and explore the surrounding. There are a lot of souvenirs shops, boutique cafes that you can spend time to unwind.
You spend all day relaxing at one of the luxury resorts off the sand dunes of Bentota River. In the evening, you may want to visit Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda, or take a river boat safari in Madu river to experience the diverse wildlife of Sri Lanka.
