I was traveling with my 8 year old son for 4 days in Myanmar and everything was perfect starting with our travel agent, from the guides waiting for us in every airport to the program. The trip was planned by our wonderful trip-planner Quynh Hoa. In a very short notice she organized a fantastic private trip starting 1 day in Yangon, 2 days in Bagan and 1 day at Inle Lake. Hoa was very patient and at no time I felt pressure to commit. She did an absolutely great job of responding to our needs and develop a travel plan that was very unique. At all time she was attentive to the fact that I was traveled with a child and I felt very safe and my son and I were just so excited to visit and explore Myanmar. In Bagan we visited Pagodas and temples, local markets, small villages, traditional lacquer- and sand painting workshops (my son even got to make his own sand painting). We had a journey by horse cart and saw beautiful sunsets. We were also blessed with a Hot air balloon flight above the Bagan country side. Wow. At Inle Lake we cruised on the canals and saw beautiful landscapes, Leg-rowers, fishermen, floating gardens and stilt houses. We visited villages, boat builders, cigar workshop and silver smith. The guides and drivers were absolutely great. They were very flexible and attentive to our needs during the day. Furthermore the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our trip to Myanmar was amazing - just too short. We had an unforgettable time. I have missed Myanmar badly since we came back and wants to go back to see and experience more of this wonderful country. The trip was perfect and I can highly recommend it to everyone.READ MORE

We hired Exotic Voyages to organize our trip to Myanmar. Neither my wife nor I had been there, although we have a number of friends who have been. We wanted to stay off the beaten path. Also, I do medium format, fine art photography so we asked for some special routing. Thuy did a spectacular job of responding to our needs and?developed a travel plan that was unique. It was just the two of us and three different guides to help us across many places in Myanmar. We went to Yangon, Kalaw, Heho, Inle Lake, Mandalay, and Bagan. Lots to see. Our guides were fantastic. We had a great time. We had not used Exotic before, but would definitely use them again! Nicely done. Visited November 2018 This review was originally posted on TripAdvisorREAD MORE

We have nothing but praise for Exotic Voyages and their good service. All our guides were wonderful and we had an amazing ten days feeling well looked after and learning so much. Their promptness in organising our tour with short notice was much appreciated as was their kind patience and assistance as we struggled to pay them due to difficulties with our banks security and communication processes. This trip of a lifetime was made perfect by Andy and Bui Ly of Exotic Voyages. I had a rough outline of places and sights we wanted to visit and see, but they put it all together and not one minute detail was forgotten. Every time we arrived in a new place, we were met by a guide and driver, starting in Myanmar with Jen, Nang Khin, Thinn Myo, and Son Mayo. Thanks also to Pong and Kee Lee in Thailand, Linn in Laos, Ky, Phu, Minh, and Tri in Vietnam, and Channak, Sophy and York in Cambodia. Some of the many outstanding experiences were the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, the picnic in the bamboo forest at Inle Lake, the sunrise balloon ride over Bagan, the cooking schools in Thailand, Hoi An and Hue in Vietnam, and of course the day as owner of an elephant in Chang Mai. Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom excursions were followed by a picnic and massage in a forest. Halong Bay and the Float House on the River Kwai were other exceptional experiences. All of our accommodations were exceptional, and we did in fact feel like VIP Ten Plus clients! The Jahan cruise on the Mekong, and the beach stays at Ngapali, Song Saa, and Phuket were delightful interludes during a very packed itinerary. We had many amazing meals, but the best was our experience at Raffles in Phnom Penh where we were served a five course meal which was out of this world. Thanks again to Andy and Bui Ly, and particularly for taking the time on a Sunday to have coffee with Ellen and I in Hanoi. Truly, Exotic Voyages and their staff go above and beyond in many ways.
