Trip Overview

In this tour you get to visit the legendary Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, then explore the thousands of splendid temples in Bagan. If you want, a baloon ride over Bagan can be arranged. Heading to Heho and take a boat trip to Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular and breathtaking sights. Enjoy Kayaking on Inle Lake – Shan Picnic In The Bamboo Forest before going back to Yangon the next day for your departure flight.

Day 1

Mingalabar and welcome to Myanmar. Upon arrival at the airport you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

We will take a complete tour which allows you to discover the colonial Yangon, see with your own eyes Indian flamboyance and feel the tranquility in Buddhist temples. Travel past faded colonial buildings, busy market streets, explore the wild existence on the Yangon River, and last but not least take a visit to the legendary Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will transfer without guide to Yangon airport for your flight to Bagan. Your guide will pick you up to discover the best of Bagan, thousand of splendid temples. In the afternoon, drive to the jetty where a private wooden river boat will take you to fabulous views as you cruise down the Irrawaddy River.

Day 4

Start your day with a visit by bike to the most noteworthy pagodas and temples in Bagan. In the afternoon drive through Bagan’s countryside to the rustic village of Minnanthu, very tranquil and isolated. Optional tour: HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE OVER BAGAN - Surcharge Applied

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival,drive to Nyaung Shwe, gateway village to Inle Lake, stop at monastery of Shweyanpyay to witness the intricate wood carving artwork. Board a private motorboat into Ine Lake, observe the daily life of local villagers on the way. Visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda before checking in your hotel.

Enjoy a kayaking adventure near Impakhone village. The last leg of your journey (about 45 minutes) takes you to the village of Taung Tho from where you will head back by boat. Have a delicious Shan picnic in a glad of the bamboo forest of Indein while visiting this intriguing pagoda complex. Enjoy traditional Shan food and a unique surrounding. Back to your hotel after the activities end.

Day 7

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Transfer without guide to Heho airport for your flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon airport at around noon time, you will directly connect with departure flight.
