The sand dunes of Wahiba Sands is an area of dessert in Oman, stretches from North to South 180km. It's 3 hours drive from Muscat and 1 and a half hour from Sur. The region was named for the Bani Wahiba tribe. Spending the night in one of the luxury camps set up here is really a bliss.
