O Loan, Van Long, Long, Tam Giang, and Nha Phu are lagoons familiar with those who love traveling in Vietnam. A lagoon is a small freshwater lake near a larger lake or a river.
Long Lagoon is gradually familiar with Hanoi tourists every weekend. Located in 70 kilometers of the city center to the west, this place has a legend. You can walk or rent bicycles or electric cars to explore. On the journey back to nature, do not forget to bring a camera to capture memorable moments.
Far from Hanoi about 80km, Van Long Lagoon is in Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. Like Long Lagoon (Ba Vi), Van Long Lagoon is an interesting destination for a weekend trip. Situated in a valley covered by limestone mountains and many unexplored caves, this place is becoming an attractive eco-tourism spot for local and foreign tourists.

Contrary to the quiet sad beauty of romantic Hue, Tam Giang lagoon located in 15 km from the city brings its pristine beauty. Anyone coming here must be amazed because this lagoon is the best place to welcome dawn and sunset. As the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia, Tam Giang Lagoon is a confluence of three major rivers consisting of Huong River, Bo River and O Lau River before these rivers run into the sea. Therefore, many storks, herons, and wild geese appear in this place making a very poetic picture. Visitors can go downstream on a small boat and be immersed in the nature to feel wonderful things.
