Northern And Southern Vietnam Golf Tour
On this tour, you will have the chance to discover and play golf on Vietnam's stunning courses. Golf courses in Hanoi, Saigon, Dalat and the beautiful beach resort of Phan Thiet will test your golfing skills. In addition, you will take a magnificent tour on a Ha Long Bay cruise, where you’ll kayak among splendid limestone formations, and explore the Mekong Delta’s richness and charm on board a beautiful wooden boat – the Bassac.
Itinerary
Day 1. Arrive Hanoi

Experience the spirit of Hanoi Old Quarter on a cyclo (pedicab) browsing through its busy trading streets. You will be surprised to see how the traffic can be so smooth despite the chaotic flow of cars, motobikes, bicycles and walkers coming from all directions. Have a stroll by the lovely Hoan Kiem lake, where you will meet a sample of Hanoians, including grooms and brides-to-be on their wedding album photo shoot and Vietnamese practicing Tai Chi. Cross the red bridge at the corner of the lake to visit the 17th century Ngoc Son temple, where a specimen of rafatus Le loi, a rare species of turtle living in the lake is displayed.
Day 2. Visit Hanoi (B)

Hanoi celebrated its millenium in 2010. Your visit of Vietnam’s capital will start with Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, followed by a stroll in the green park and the traditional stilt house where he used to live. Then we will take you to the 1000-year-old Temple of Literature – also known as the first university of Vietnam, where you will learn about the educational system in ancient Vietnam and its importance in defining the country’s culture and values as your tour the temple. In the afternoon, take a trip to visit the Ethnology Museum and have a glimpse into the richness and diversity of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Refresh your mind at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on the beautiful West lake, the largest lake of the city of Hanoi. In the evening, enjoy a traditional water puppet show which dates back to 11th century.
Day 3. Playing golf in Hanoi – Ha Long (B,L)

The whole day is devoted to playing golf at Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club in Hai Duong (70 km from Hanoi). This golf course is one of the top golf courses in the country, situated on a magnificent valley, beside a large lake and surrounded by pine forest hills. At the end of the day trip, continue your route to Ha Long Bay.
Day 4. Ha Long (B,L,D) kayaking

The Morning is free at your leisure, then around noon, board your beautiful wooden junk for a cruise of Ha Long Bay. Halong Bay is a World Natural Heritage, famous for its stunning limestone formations covering a huge area of 1500 km. Enjoy a special seafood lunch while cruising toward Nui Ngoc – a local fishing village in the bay. Most of the villagers were born on a boat and spend their entire life on a boat, traveling to the land only for rare special occasions. Recently, floating houses have been created, making their lives a bit easier. Your tour guide will provide you with all the necesary instructions for safe kayaking. Around 3 p.m., begin exploring the bay by kayak with a visit to Ho Ba Ham – a lagoon with three caves. As the water here is quite clear and shalow, you can even see the sea bottom and its various corals and creatures. You then kayak to visit Ba Men Temple, where the custom of worshipping the whale as a god of fishermen still exists. Return to the main boat in the late afternoon and enjoy a fresh seafood dinner. Overnight onboard.
Day 5. Ha Long – Hanoi – flight to Saigon (B)
After a morning swim and breakfast, set out again for three hours’ kayaking. First, stop at a small, isolated beach for swimming and sunbathing. Slide back into your kayak and continue on to a fishing village, discover how the fishermen there raise crab and shrimp as your tour the area. Keep cruising back to Ha Long pier, where we will arrive about noon. Transfer directly to the airport for your flight to Saigon, where you’ll arrive around 7 p.m.
Day 6. Playing golf in Saigon (B,L)
Day 7. Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho (B,L,D) Crusing on Bassac boat

Today, we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta. Board the beautiful Bassac at Cai Be, about three hours drive from Saigon. Have a welcome drink as you board the ship for your tour and be introduced to the ship and crew. Depart toward Cho Lanh on the Tien Giang River. Lunch en route. Rest on the deck, or enjoy the open bar. Branch into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, and see fruit-drying facilities and wooden-ship-building yards during your tour. Visit a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants during this special trip. Visit the orchard or rice fields nearby. Back on board, enjoy a complimentary drink. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset and the open bar. It will not be long before you totally succumb to the magic of this place. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River. The Bassac sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On floating market for the night.
Day 8. Can Tho - Saigon (B)

Breakfast is available starting at 6:30 a.m., while the ship is cruising the Tra On floating market. You’ll then head toward Can Tho. Arriving in Cai Rang floating market, you'll easily recognize it by the sight of wooden boats with samples of fruits and vegetables hung on high poles attached to their roofs, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the biggest floating market of the Mekong Delta. You will be surprised by the huge variety of products sold at the market, from well-known fruits like mangos and bananas, to exotic ones like mangosteens, star apples, the sweetened longans and the very odorous durians. Don’t forget to taste some delicious pineaple freshly cut. Try to resist the inviting soup vendors smiling behind their big, steaming pots. People, dogs, cats, chickens and everyone in between seem to be totally at ease with their own roles on the boats. Leave the market and continue you trip on boat to visit the nearby arroyos and gardens before returning to the Ninh Kieu pier. Then, transfer to Saigon, where you arrive late in the afternoon.
Day 9. Saigon – flight to Da Lat (B)
In the morning, fly to Da Lat. Situated at 1000m above sea level, Da Lat is endowed with a temparate climate all year round, with four seasons within a day. During the French colony, French officials came here to escape from the heat of Saigon and had their villas built in the style of Swiss Chalets. Today, the European aspect of its hilly landscapes covered by pine forests and dotted with lakes and flower gardens continue to attract many Vietnamese tourists as they come to take a vacation in a very french atmopshere. It is also a dwelling place of many artists, who need solitude and nature for inspiration. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the flower market, Bao Dai Palace, the old railway station and the valley of love. Return to the town at the end of the day.
Day 10. Playing golf in Da Lat (B,L)

Today is for playing golf at Da Lat Palace Golf Club. Da Lat golf course is one of the first to be created in Vietnam, centrally located on a hill overlooking Ho Xuan Huong lake. Enjoy lunch at the Club House and return to the hotel at the end of a full day of golfing and touring the club.
Day 11. Da Lat – Phan Thiet (B)

After breakfast, take the road to Phan Thiet, where you will arrive towards the end of the morning. Phan Thiet is known to be the easternmost part of the country, where Vietnam see its first rays of sun for the day. It is endowed with pristine beaches and an excellent climate, ideal for seaside vacationer and tourists. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a free day at the beach touring the local area.
Day 12. Playing golf in Phan Thiet (B,L)

Spend this whole day playing golf at Ocean Dunes Golf Club. As the name suggests, the course is just a hundred meters away from the sea, separated by several low sand dunes. Enjoy lunch at the Club House and return to the hotel towards the end of the day.
Day 13. Phan Thiet – Saigon – Depart (B)
Free time until you are transferred directly to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure flight back home after your memorable trip to Vietnam.
