Day 1: Arrive Luang Prabang (B,L,D)

Arrive in Luang Prabang.. Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check - in.

Evening:

Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2: Khuang Sy Waterfall - Luang Prabang Visiting (B,L,D)

Morning:

Breakfast at the hotel.

After that, take a leisure bike ride to Khuang Sy waterfall. The road leading to the waterfall is bordered by nice villages and rice fields. You’ll stop in some of these villages to have a closer look at daily locals’ life. Upon arrival at Khuang Sy you can swim in the waterfall which scatters into many basins.

Noon & Afternoon:

Enjoy a catering lunch at the waterfall.

Return to Luang Prabang by private vehicle and continue to visit the city.

Our group then splits into few smallers group to deep explore the old royal capital Luang Prabang, a UNESCO-classified world heritage site by a challenge hunting game. With some “tools” provided by us before the game, such as a map, some local money, a tuk tuk and so on, your task is to find out the way to a famous temple on your own; or seek for some daily utensils of locals or communicate with locals at a market and bring back some specialities. There will have some of our people to assist you at all mentioned places and required objects will be well described or instructed to you in advance.

Evening:

Catering dinner at Boua Kham Beum.

Day 3: Visiting Pak Ou Cave (B,L,D)

Morning:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart from the hotel to visit Vat Xieng Thong, the Temple of the Royal City where exists a vast collection of sacred buildings, one of the jewels of Laotian art and the most beautiful temple of the city.

In the late morning, embark your private vessels for a short nice cruise to famous Pak Ou Cave

Noon & Afternoon:

Enjoy a lunch on board while we are still cruising on Nam Ou River.

We cruise for about one hour and a half taking in marvelous scenery. The Mékong is nestled at the bottom of a valley where the jungle spills into the river. Now and then you will come upon a village hidden behind the verdant foliage.

Upon arrival at the sacred Pak Ou Caves which are filled with Buddha statues, disembark to visit thiers deeper part. The caves offer a magnificent view of the Mekong river mixing its dark waters to the clear stream of the Nam Ou.

Get back on the boat and take a downstream cruise. On the way, we can visit a village where Lao-Lao is traditionally distilled.

Arrival in Luang Prabang in the afternoon.

Return to the hotel for short rest or free time at leisure to visit the city at your own pace.

Evening:

Transfer to a nice traditional Lao house to enjoy a Baci ceremoni.
