Mondolkiri
Majestic waterfalls and forested hills are Mondulkiri’s claim to fame. This eastern province of Cambodia is the country’s largest, but its least populated. Only 40,000 people live here. Ten tribal minorities make up the bulk of the population. The main town, Sen Monorom, with a population of 7,000, is sometimes compared with an American Wild West town. Visitors to the area can enjoy the waterfalls, trekking in scenic areas, and the indigenous hill culture.
